Endesa has announced that it will be cutting the power supply to Urbanización Punta de La Mona on Monday the 24th.

The cut will only affect houses near La Torre and will last from 08.30h to 14.00h

There had been an announcement the week before about a power cut in Salobreña for maintenance work on Urbanizacíon Monte de los Almendros, Urbanizacíon Costa Aguilera and Urbanizacíon Alfamar that was to last all day until nine in the evening. It turned out that the warning issued had an error and it was only to be until 09.00h in the morning.

In the end, it didn’t even appear to have taken place as most people have digital clocks on their ovens, etc and none were affected, in the case of Monte de Los Almendros, at least.

Editorial comment: why the hell do they need to do it at the height of summer when the coastal towns are packed? Anyway, it makes a change from the summer blackouts because of defective infrastructure, or have we spoken too soon?
