The latest development is that the Vox politician, Macarena Olona, has decided to take the Mayor of Salobreña to court over her empadronmiento rejection.
To do this, she knocked on the door of the Guardia Civil post in Salobreña to whistel up some respect and make a formal complaint (denuncia).
She accused the Mayor of prevaricación administrativa (abuse of office), under Articulo 404 de la Ley Orgánica 10/1995, de 23 de noviembre. She also accused her of infringing her electoral rights.
Furthermore, her party claims that she has to live with a bodyguard after receiving death threats for her political activity.
Editorial comment: all this news coverage, barely three weeks before the regional elections, plays straight into the hands of Sra.Olona’s: free publicity. It’s allowing her to portray herself as the victim.
