As part of the Fiestas Patronales de La Herradura, the Banda Municipal de Música de Almuñécar, gave a concert on the front terrace of the village church.
The programme began with the work, Educandos de Benéjuzar, followed by Alcázar Kivir (Alhambra). The third number played was Evocación, directed by Carlos Pérez Martín.
They then knocked out succesion, Aniversario Macareno, Nerva, Ayamonte, Aires de Triana, Ragón Falez, El Tio Caniyitas and, Málaga, tierra ideal.
No burning amps were flung into the crowd nor did any teenage girls faint or engage in screaming pledges of undying love to any member of the band.
The Banda Municipal de Música will perform again in La Herradura on the 26th of this month as part of the pre-Semana Santa rituals (Pregón).
