The turn out at the blood-donation session in Almuñécar enjoyed a very good turn out of volunteers, numbering over two hundred.

“It is a great satisfaction to see how locals turn out when there is a call for blood & plasma donations,” said the Councillor for Social Services, Sra. Reinosa, continuing with, “during the morning 77 Almuñequeros arrived and the afternoon session nearly doubled that number (140).”

People even took the time to queue up and wait patiently because there were so many people being processed, she explained.

She also took the opportunity to thank the Asociación de Donantes de Sangre de Almuñécar and the Carbonell family for letting the donation services use one of their premises (Edificio Plaza Mayor).
