A member of staff at a bank branch in the city of Granada became trapped in the ATM mechanism and required rescuing and hospital treatment.

This took place earlier in the week around 11.45h one morning at a bank on Calle Recogidas. The fire service was called out to free him. Also despatched was an UVI ambulance; i.e., a mobile ICU.

As soon as they managed to free him, he was taken to the Trauma (Hospital Virgen de Las Nieves).

A similar incident occurred in Texas in July, 2017, when the worker was reduced to passing written notes, begging for help, through a slot whenever somebody turned up to withraw cash…
