When you're out with a driving instructor having a lesson - or worse, taking your test - the last thing you need is to be rammed by a drunk driver... but it happens.
The incident took place around 18.15h on the 21st in an underpass that connects Calle Severo Ochoa with the Avenida de Madrid in the centre of Granada.
The learner driver was probably thinking that things were going well, when a car attempted to overtake him but instead rammed him and then collided with the tunnel wall.
Despite it being a pretty messy road accident, nobody was injured (although the learner driver might have soiled him/herself, understandably). However, there was a serious hold up of traffic in this main artery of the city.
The culprit was breathalysed and found to be four times over the limit and now awaits appearing before a judge.
