The cyclist from La Herradura, Víctor Pozo Garciolo, who is a member of the AC Herradura, won the perteneciente the BBT championships in Otívar last Sunday.

Andalusian championships for BTT Descenso 2021 was the last competition in the Open de España de Descenso 2021.

Victor took three minutes and four seconds to cover the 1.5km downhill course, which is not easy task because it is a very steep descent with many obstacle such as large rocks along the way – you really have to be half rider and half mountain goat to complete the course.

The event was organised by Club Show Time Almuñécar with the support of Otívar Town Hall, as well as local companies and the Federación de Ciclismo. Otívar is certainly being put on the map thanks to these events; the Campeonato de España de Descenso was held there last year.
