Those born in 1988 and 1989 can now request a vaccination appointment, which started yesterday, Thursday the 8th.

If you turn 32 or 33 this year then you can use internet or a phone app (probably your preference) or alternatively make a phone call, or go to your local medical centre (almost certainly your grandparents’ choice) to get your appointment.

The medical centre, by the way, is that mysterious place where old foggies go sometimes only to spend an hour sitting in a waiting room before a 5-minute, unsatisfying chat with an overworked, under-motivated, underpaid and thinly disguised, unsympathetic person.

You will receive either a Pfizer or Moderna vaccination, as is the case of all those in their 30s up to 39.

If anybody is wondering when the hell their second jab is due – after hearing that appointments have been moved forward two week – you can find that on the phone app under Mis Citas.

So, how are we doing on the vaccine supplies in Sunny Andalucía? The Junta has received 834,280 doses: 308,880 Pfizer and 92,500 Moderna, combined with the 95,900 doses of single-shot Janssen received last Friday, which was the same day the Junta received 350,000 doses of AstraZeneca in order to complete the second-jab roll out.
