Santa Arrives on a Surf Board

LHR Santa Arrives by Padel SurfYesterday Santa glided into La Herradura  but not on an airborn sleigh, but rather a surf board, or better said, paddle board. He was accompanied by helpers, amongst them, a soggy dog.

All told an invasion fleet of over a dozen paddle boards and kayaks didn’t actually make an amphibious landing, but rather did an aquatic flypast, which was not a traumatic affair as the sea was very calm.

During the course of an hour, Papá Noel (Father Christmas) and the gang cruised along just off the beach from the Punta de la Mona as far as nearly Cerro Gordo, waving as they went to those who had been out enjoying a stroll along the beach or sitting on the terraced seating of the chiringuitos.

The event was organised by Windsurf La Herradura.
