Yesterday not only brought a change to the Covid restrictions concerning inter-provincial travel, but it also brought 2,000 skiers to the Sierra Nevada slopes.

On offer are 30 kilometres across 29 separate ski slopes in four different areas: Veleta, Borreguiles, Río and Loma de Dílar.

As for snow coverage, the thickness is between 30cm and a metre of compacted, powdered snow.

And of course, it’s pretty decent weather! Plenty of sunshine  and clear skies. Also, the temperature is just right for the snow cannons to give Mother Nature a hand providing the snow.
