The PM of the Regional Government, Juanma Moreno, announced yesterday that the present restrictions on movement would be extended two additional days past the 10th.

This extension is to give the medical authorities a little more time to see how the 4-day, bank holiday has affected the contagion figures, explained the Government Spokesperson, (see photo).

At present the contagion figures for Andalucía continue to drop: Tuesday the total was 434 whereas yesterday it had dropped to 366.

This general tendency in the decline in contagion is reflected in our weekly contagion report that we publish each Tuesday.

This evening, the Board of Medical Experts belonging to the Junta de Andalucía will make an announcement concerning the limitations that the Junta will put in force over the Christmas period and leading up to it; i.e., if they differ in severity to those laid down by the Central Government.
