A municipal policeman in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga) was beaten up after telling somebody to wear a mask who hadn’t been wearing one.

This occurred around mid November and took place in the Plaza de España. There was a group of youths gathered and amongst them a 16-year-old who wasn’t wearing the obligatory mask; in fact, quite a few weren’t but this particular lad was very truculent in his attitude when reprimanded. The gathering broke up after the group was told to observe social distance.

A little later policemen in plain clothes came across another gathering in the Parque Juan Pablo II and the same youth was amongst them and he still wasn’t wearing a mask, so they decided to escort him home to inform his parents.

When they reached the teen’s home, they were greeted with blows and kicks from the father and the lad’s elder brother (21). They were joined by the 16-year old.
