Almuñécar will host the XXII Feria Gastronómica between the 9th and 25th of October but it won’t be in the Parque Botánico as always.
The objective of this year’s fair is twofold: maintain an event that has always attracted a large following whilst at the same time promote the Costa Tropical’s subtropical-fruit production.
However, Councillor Francisco Robles Rivas explained that owing to the pandemic each participating establishment will provide its contribution without its own premises.
According to the conditions that regulate the event, the price of each dish will be fixed by each eating establishment with a minimum price of six euros and a maximum of ten.
Each one of the participating establishments will receive a diploma demonstrating that they had participated in this year’s particular event, whose organisation has been so affected by the pandemic. Them main thing is that the event is being held, even though in this unusual format, despite the situation.
