Chiringuito Hoyo 19 on one of Motril’s beaches has temporarily closed down after it was discovered that one of its staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Now, a team of traceres is searching for the chain of contagion that led to the worker and whom he may of infected since. This work is crucial for determining who should be tested for Covid-19. At the moment, we’re just talking about an isolated case.

So far, anybody that had contact with him have gone into isolation although it is still not known whether he was infected at work or elsewhere.

The closure of this popular chiringuito is only a preventative measure taken by the owners. In the meantime, the rest of the staff are being tested and the whole premises is being desinfected.
