Salobreña’s chief attraction, La Alcazaba (apart from the beaches) has opened its castle gate to the general public, after closing during the Lock Down.
The castle will be running its normal summer hours, which are 10.00h to 13.30h and 17.30h to 20.30h, every day of the week.
To be able to visit the monument in the safest of manners, the people in charge of running the castle have drawn up an organised visit, where physical separations have been marked out in the narrower areas, so that visitors can maintain the recommended safety distance.
Masks must be worn and visitors should avoid touching walls, handrails as much as possible. The arrows indicating which way to walk should also be obeyed.
The public toilets will remain closed and the total visitor capacity at any given moment will be reduced.
Any doubts, consult the Town Hall webpage.
