Andalucía’s Plan for Bars, Etc

AND Junta PM MorenoThe regional PM for Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, proposed that bars and restaurants are allowed to open from the 25th of May. He also proposed that hairdressers and beauty parlous from the 11th.

But it doesn’t stop there because he also proposed to the Ministry of Public Health for the Central Government that there should be burials without vigils from the 18th but religious ceremonies from the 3rd of May; i.e, church services.

We produced below his agenda for lifting the Lock Down.

1st of May: the elderly and jogging.
3rd of May: Church services
10th of May: families to go out together.
11th of May: hairdressers, beauticians and shops in general
18th of May: funerals without all-night vigils.
25th of May: Eating establishments.
1st fortnight of June: hotels.

This is just a suggestion from a regional PM; it’s not a timetable that the Central Government has approved or has intention of following.

The easing of measures, however, will not be uniform over the whole country, so don’t count on the 2nd of May date for allowing people out – it could be anytime between the 2nd and the 9th.

In fact, the Lock Down could well be extended a further two weeks, so things in general, perhaps, won’t begin to shift concerning bars etc until around the beginning of June.

Ha ha. Sounds like a busy man deciding what everyone can do and when they can do it.

This sounds great for intra-town movement. But is there any information about inter-town movement? Will the hotels be open for people from Madrid for example or even those from Granada coming to their holiday homes? This is re-infection is likely to come from.
