Yes, it has been a bit blustery along the Costa Tropical – not much rain though, despite the forecast. In Motril a tree leading up to the main church (N.S. de la Cabeza) was blown over.
On the main drag through town; i.e., Avenida de Salobreña, one of the Christmas lights in the form of an arch nearly fell screaming to its death but managed to hang on, dangling from one side.
The surf on the beaches along the length of the coast from La Herradura to Castell has been boisterous, to say the least and thankfully, nobody has been foolish enough to go out and get themselves into trouble.
