Motril Town Hall, which is situated in the Plaza de España, will have a make over on its facade, the Town Council has decided.

With a budget of 14.349 euros, the work should conclude within a month. Apparently, the buildings cornices are deteriorated, which could lead to bits falling off.

The work on the facade will also include new adornments in relief form above the windows, as well as the main door.

The town-hall building, which dates back to the 17th Century and sports a baroque-style facade, has undergone previous renovation work, but all on the interior.

Whilst the work is going on, the front of the building will be covered with scaffolding and nets, with a covered walkwayfor entering and leaving the building.
