Tomorrow night will see a chance to tune into some boleros, mambos, rumbas, tangos, cha-cha-chas, in La Herradura fortress.
The performers, father and daughter, have more than 12 years of experience on stage. Jean Paul has Algerian roots and has spent much time in Spain, whilst his daughter, Michelle, brings her Parisian upbringing to the cultural mixture that makes up French-Latino.
The fortress is the one in La Herradura where the concert, French Latino, will take place Friday at 22.30h.
Quoting from their website: “French Latino is an atypical group. The combination of their trans-Mediterranean music with the complicity between generations that Michelle and Jean Paul show on stage, make each performance a different, exciting, unforgettable experience.”
The instruments used are impressive in their variety, consisting of Latin and African percussions backing Mediterranean instruments, such as the derboukas, djembes, congas, Spanish guitars, mandolins, piano, synthesizers
As for the lyrics, they’ll be sung in Spanish, French, Italian and English.
The concert starts at 22.00h, so make sure that you don’t miss it! You can obtain tickets online by following this link. The price is 15 euros or 18 at the door.
