A man in Válor was crushed by his own car when it rolled backwards and pinned him against a wall – he had forgotten to apply the handbrake.
He left the handbrake off and the driver door open when he went to the back of the car, which was parked on a slight slope.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday but it was not until later in the morning that a neighbour noticed that the car was running and with its lights on. When the neighbour approached he came across the lifeless body of the victim.
