The Salobreña opposition party, the PP, has complained about the state of an uninhabited house in a ruinous state, which actually has a gaping hole in its facade.
Party Spokesman, Gustavo Aybar, points out that the house, which is in the old town, is situated on a street with a lot of coming and going of pedestrians, and therefore the house in semi-ruin is a danger to passersby.
Despite the barriers that the Town Hall has ordered put in place, there is little to stop curious people, even children, from entering it.
According to Sr. Aybar, the house has been in this state since last summer and that red-tape bureaucracy shouldn’t have prevented the Town Hall from either demolishing the house or at least bricking in the hole; i.e., acting first and then handing the bill to the owners.
