The Vice Mayor, Susana Feixas explained that the first stage of the restoration work will be repairs to the bodywork and upholstery, as well as the wheel (rims) and tyres. The second stage will be attention to the engine etc so that it can be driven.

During the restoration work a small plaque will be added to say that the car was donated by Pedro Antonio García-Llamas Jiménez to the Town Hall on the 30th of March 2006.
