Two women were attacked and killed by the dogs belonging to one of them in her home in Colmenar de Oreja (Madrid).

By the time that the ambulance had arrived the dogs were docile and playful, but moments before, according to the ambulance crew,  they had “literally devoured” the two women, mother and daughter, aged 57 and 41. One of the victims had had her throat torn out.

Nobody will know what actually happened when the victims arrived to feed the dogs, as they did every day – nobody saw what happened. It was just like any other day.

It was their husbands who discovered the bodies around 13.30h; they had gone to see why the women weren’t answering their phones.

Seprona (Guardia Civil) took charge of the dogs, American Staffordshire Terriers crossed with Bordeaux Bulldogs, taking them to a vet to have them examined before taking them to an animal compound.
