The price of butane bottles went up today by nearly five percent to 15.33 euros; that’s the third consecutive price rise.
The price went up by 4.9% in July and another 4.95% in September. However, in March and May it had dropped by the same percentage amounts.
The price of butane on the international market has hardly changed but the depreciaton of the Euro has contributed to the rise.
Despite this increase, we are still well below the March 2015 price per 12.5kg butane bottle, which was 17.5 euros.
The new price will remain in force until the 3rd Tuesday in January, which is when it is due to be revised again.
