Car owners in Motril can rest more easily, hopefully, after the Policía Nacional arrested a local charged with eight car break-ins.

The 33-year-old man also stands accused of bag snatching and two counts of car theft.

The police acted after several car owners reported that their  cars had been broken into and items removed. In the cases of the two car thefts, one of the vehicle owners had carelessly left his/her keys inside.

As for the bag snatching incident, it took place in Armilla.
