The Alhendin recycling plant has suffered another fire (the third) late last Saturday, less than a week after the second, on the 13th of July.
The column of dense, black smoke was visible from such surrounding towns as Cájar, Huétor Vega, Ogíjares and Otura
Fire personnel were still damping down the fire well into Sunday with the company’s front loaders working throughout the day, dumping earth on embers to prevent the fire from reigniting
It is still not known what caused this latest fire, but three in a row in such a short period of time, is just a little bit suspicious, to say the least.
