The traditional, Salobreña, Summer Market, which is held in the cool of the evenings, has been relocated down onto the beachfront road.
The market, which has always been very popular and attracts residents from neighbouring towns, as well as locals and tourists, will be held every Friday until the 14th of September.
In recent years it has been held next to the Municipal Sports Stadium, but has moved around town over the years, including at the very top end of Avenida 28 de Febrero, where it meets Calle Cristo, when it first started out.
The number of stalls has diminished a bit, having fallen to around 30 in number, but as mentioned at the beginning of the article, it remains very popular.
