If you’re coming into Motril tomorrow from the west (Salobreña) note that the road from the first junction, past Al Campo, will be problematic.

The reason being is that they are going to be cutting back the vegetation on the road verges from in front of the Al Campo junction to the main-road junction.

This work will commence at 07.00h and hopefully be completed by midday (12.00h) affecting westbound traffic, not eastbound traffic.

Just in case the above is not clear, you can drive into Motril from the western access to the town on the N-340, but you cannot drive the opposite way with that lane being closed opposite the gasolinera next to Al Campo.
