Costas has got its finger out and has started repairing the damage caused to the Paseo Reina Sofía breakwater in Almuñécar.
It was only in March that a gale whipped up the waves and pummelled the sea defences there, which means that Costas has reacted quite promptly, which probably has something to do with the fact that the political party governing Almuñécar and the one governing Costas is the same one…
Whatever the case, 242,000 euros was found for the emergency work, which should be completed within two months. The company that won the contract for the project, by the way, was Meridonal.
