A young man has been fined 600 euros for keeping 14 dogs in a lamentable state. He also has a 3-month ban from working in animal-related professions.

The 18-year old lives in Granada and used a cave in Sacromente where he kept the animals.

A municipal policeman who managed to peak into a cave room were the 14 pitbulls and American Stanfords were kept. Amongst the dogs were five pitbull puppies.

Editorial comment: I can never understand this seemingly ridiculous ban-period system – it should be for life; full stop.
