The First Councillor of La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, denounces the repetitive power cuts in the village over the last few days.
He considers the situation to be “unsustainable,” pointing out that “one cannot work” under these conditions because small businesses have to grind to a halt, not to mention the problems faced in domestic households.
He claims that during Tuesday (the 6th) there were at least 30 cuts in the power supply, despite there being normal weather conditions, which caused headaches for small businesses.
He therefore calls upon the utility companies to take measures to check over their systems, whilst at the same time carrying out all the “necessary work to do away with this situation.”
