Motril Cleaning Company Goes

MOT Limdeco Meeting 01The Motril cleaning company, Limdeco, has been staggering for ages, requiring more and more cash injections, but now finally, the Town Hall’s announced its end.

Limdeco, which is a part publicly owned company, headed by a politician, owes a large sum of oney to Hacienda and Hacienda is not known for its benevolence. It also has an immense debt with Social Security, which it is paying off by installments.

And it doesn’t matter how large the budget quota it receives, it always spends more than its budget. So, finally, it has reached the end of the line.

Consequently, there has been a workers assembly which has voted for going on strike as a way of pressuring the Town Hall into clarifying what the exact terms of the company’s dissolution are.

The company will go into receivership on the 7th of November, but the workers assembly wants to delay that until they know what is going to happen to the company workers.

The strike will commence on the 7th of November, too, so don’t expect much street cleaning and rubbish collection from then on…
