Granada Airport (Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén) closed its September figures with 86,140 passengers, which is nearly 25% up on last year.
The majority of these passengers (85,917) were on commerical flights, of which 73,042 were national flights, whereas 12,875 were international.
There was a notable growth in flights from abroad thanks to EasyJets’ flights into London, Manchester and Milan, giving a 528% increase on the previous year.
As far as national flights go, there were 9.5% up on September 2016, with Barcelona enjoying an 18.7% increase in passenger numbers.
