Música Sur brought five days of chamber music to the Costa Tropical this september, performed in various venues within Motril.

From the first concert on the 24th at the Casa Condesa De Torre-Isabel to the last one on the 29th at the Teatro Calderón, locals and visitors had the chance to listen to top-class chamber music. Other venues were the Museo del Azúcar and the Centro De Desarrollo Turístico, down near the port.

On the 25th, for example, at the Teatro Calderón the audience could listen to renditions of Franz Schubert’s Fantasía en fa menor D. 940 (1828), Lieder and Nocturno D. 897 (1827).

On the last day, the 29th, which was also at the same venue as above, there was both a matinee performance for kids at 11.00h, as well as an evening one at 21.00h

A great end to the summer season.
