Entre dos Aguas is the title that’s been given to a special concert that will combine the talents of both the Choir of the City of Almuñécar under Director Pablo Guerrero, with the German Choir, O de Cologne, as directed by Thomas Wutke.

Designed to cover a repertoire of diverse pieces, including religious and secular music, the concerts will include a Baroque selection from Buxtehude, Banchieri and Mozart, amongst others.

You will notice the recurrence of water as the theme. Our intention is to achieve an international bond between our choirs, with the reference to the German choir’s clever name (who didn’t grow up enjoying the scent of Eau de Cologne?) together with an emphasis on the sea which serves as a vital axis here in Almuñécar.

The first concert will be at Órgiva’s Church, La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Expectación from 8:30pm on Friday 27th October and the second concert will take place in our very own town at Almuñécar’s main church, La Iglesia de la Encarnación from 9pm on Saturday 28th October.
