For the 12th year running, Frigiliana will be holding its very popular Festival de las Tres Culturas, starting today and finishing on Sunday the 27th.
The streets of Frigiliana – considered to have one of the best conserved old towns of Arab origin – will be teeming for four days, sporting Jewish, Arab and Christian themes. This year the expectations calculate some 35,000 visitors for the duration of the event.
There will be a Medieval Street Market, conferences, workshops and activities for the kiddies, as well as theatre plays and live music.
Oh, and don’t forget the Tapa Route – probably the first village to hold one – with 20 establishments participating. Last year it is calculated that some 25,000 tapas were served during the 2016 event.
