A sea search continues for a German yachtsman who sent out an SOS on Sunday the 4th of June to say that his craft was sinking off the Costa del Sol, in front of Puerto de la Duquesa.
The Spanish maritime rescue service, Salvamento Marítimo, combed the area from La Linea (Cádiz) as far as Estepona (Málaga) and as far out as the Mar de Alborán, but to no avail so far.
The following day a Guardia Civil patrol launch, Salvamar Vega and an aircraft belonging to the Spanish Air Force, searched the area again – the aircraft is searching for signs of debris in front of the said port, too.
The missing craft is called Hakuna Matata and is based in Sotogrande (Cádiz).
