This Thursday, the 25th of May, the new Lidl Supermarket will be inaugurated, serving Almuñécar, La Herradura, Jete, Otívar and Lentegí.

This German, supermarket chain has invested three million euros in the demolition of the old supermarket and the building of the new, much bigger one.

To cover the staff needs they have hired an extra eight shop attendants bringing up the staff numbers to 30.

With a shelf area of 1,200 sq/m, this new building also has parking for 90 vehicles beneath it and will open its doors from 09.00h to 21.30h Monday to Saturday.

The Lidl supermarket chain has a total of 14 supermarkets all over the province of Granada.

As for the day of the inauguration itself, Lidl will be giving away raffia baskets to the first 2,000 clients through the door who spend more than 20 euros. There will also be food-sampling from its new BIO products.
