The Policía Nacional in Motril have arrested six men, age between 21 and 53, over a cannabis plantation on a cortijo on the outskirts of Motril.

Besides the 385 plants themselves, the police also confiscated a katana, a rifle, two automatic pistols, two revolvers and plenty of ammunition.

The men, three of whom already have criminal records, were charged with growing illegal substances, an illegal electrical hook-up and the illegal possession of firearms.
