Animal Cruelty in Molvizar

SAL Molvizar Animal Cruelty OnLA man in Molvizar has been arrested for allegedly leaving a sick dog without food or water do die – luckily, the Guardia Civil found it first.

The animal was discovered when the environmental branch of the Guardia Civil, Seprona, was carrying out a routine inspection on a cortijo after reports of many dogs being kept there: the 50-year-old owner, who has a criminal record, has 18 Argentinean bulldogs in his possession.

None of the animals had a microchip nor any veterinary documentation and were kept in lamentable conditions.

The said sick animal had various tumours and was extremely thin both as a result of its illness and because of being denied, food, water and care.

Seprona handed the dog over to a local animal-refuge association to treat its illness and care for it in general.
