It doesn’t look like the permanent cinema in Motril has come off; the idea was to have one in the Centro Desarrollo Turístico building.

A businessman took up the pilot scheme for a few months and it didn’t go badly, but he does not appear to be disposed to continue.

The Town Hall was pretty keen on the idea of the town having a permanent cinema facility so it was taken aback when the said businessman stated that they were not interested in the project.

In the last few weeks, however, the Town Hall has been working on a new terms and conditions contract to be put up for bidding; one that will allow for a more ample offer to the public.
