The film in English to be shown at the Almuñécar Casa de la Cultura will be the latest Star Wars release: Rogue One.
However, because of upcoming Christmas events, the film will be shown on Monday the 19th, rather than a habitual Tuesday screenings.
Synopsis: The Rebels decide to steal the plans for the Death Star, putting into motion the epic saga to follow.
Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) goes into hiding as a child when her father, research scientist Galen Erso, is forcibly recruited by Imperial Director Orson Krennic to complete the design of the Death Star; a space station capable of destroying entire planets. Fifteen years later, Jyn is freed from Imperial captivity by the Rebels, who plan to use her to track down her father, then kill him to prevent the weapon being built.
Chronologically, the film is set between the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005) and Star Wars: A New Hope (1977).
That’s Monday the 19th at 18.00h at the Almuñécar Casa de la Cultura.
