Pampaneira, up in the Alpujarra, held its XXX Feria de Artesanía, Turismo y Agricultura Ecológica during the All-Saints Bank Holiday.
The fair ran from Friday to Monday and attracted all of the most dynamic sectors in the Alpujarra with 30 stalls taking part; that’s one stall for every year that the fair has been running.
Also, the Alpujarra, it should be remembered, is famous for its artisan textile sector, as well as its cuisine, especially, its jamón serrano.
But it wasn’t just about market stalls because the event also included workshops, hiking routes and even a rock festival, Sulayr Rock.
