Costa Tropical’s area hospital, Santa Ana in Motril, has a new CAT Scanner, which will provide improved resolution capacity and diagnosis quality.
The machine cost 339,625 euros and will do away with the need for users having to travel up to the provincial hospital in Granada. The 16-slice apparatus can produce 32 images a second.
The CAT Scanner was installed on the 4th of July but it was this recent visit from a bigwig from Sevilla, Sr. Aquilino Alonso that prompted this press release. Since its installation 607 patients have used it.
Sr. Aquilino Alonso was also taken to view the new ultrasound machine, as well as the new energy-management system.
Well, we’re sure he had a wonderful time but it’s time to leave the said gentleman’s visit and the marvels he witnessed before our readers’ attention spans implode in quiet desperation.
