This summer sees a new addition to the many reasons for visiting the Costa Tropical – Boatdil Catámaran coastline cruises!
If the beaches, monuments and nightlife are not enough to bring you down to the coast of Granada, then a catamaran cruise along its coastline is the topping on the cake and sure to tempt you.
This 15.6m long, 6.8m wide craft can carry 97 passengers, giving them not only a privileged view of the coast from the sea, but also the seabed, thanks to its underwater-viewing portholes and several underwater cameras with the images projected on four screens.
There are two daily routes; one leaving the Marina del Este and the other leaving Motril Port. Each cruise lasts one hour, 15 minutes and will be running until the 20th of September.
Route: Almuñécar – Maro/Cerro Gordo cliffs & Marine Reserve.
This cruise proceeds along the coastline between the Marina and the Cerro Gordo Natural Park. These waters enjoy a remarkable coastline and seabed, as well as a diversity of fauna both marine and on land.
The catamaran is equipped with underwater cameras and windows for passengers to discover the impressive rocky seabed in front of the Punta de la Mona and Cerro Gordo cliffs.
Duration: 1h & 15 min Approx.
Timetable: Friday to Monday 11:30h, 13:00h, 16:00h and 18:00h (note that the 18.00h option is not available on Fridays between July he 1st and August 31st).
Route: Motril – Cabo Sacratif
A great chance to view the Sierra de Lújar and the Sierra Nevada from out at sea.
Duration: 1h & 15 min Approx.
Timetable: Tuesday to Thursday 11:30h, 13:00h, 16:00h & 18:00h (note that the 18.00h option is not available on Wednesdays between July he 1st and August 31st)
The price for both cruises is 13 euros per adults and 9 euros children (3 to 12-year-olds).
Special Routes
Every Friday, from the 1st of July to the 31st of August, you can enjoy a 3-hour cruise so that you can experience the Costa Tropical charms in this special way. Specially designed to let you enjoy the Granada coastline from another point of view, you will be able to watch sunset, swimm or dive offshore, enjoy a concert, or live local festivities from our catamaran.
The Sunset
This route, which includes a stop in high seas for bathing (subject to crew approval), costs 23 euros per adult and 16 euros per child. The price also includes one drink.
Duration: three hours, approx.
Time: Departure Wednesdays at 19:00h from Motril and 19.00h on Fridays from the Marina del Este.
