The Supreme Court has sentenced a Spanish Army lieutenant-colonel to a year’s suspended jail sentence for sending sexual emails to a Sergeant.
In order to do this, the officer created two email accounts corresponding to a woman’s name from which he sent sexually explicit messages to a first-sergeant (staff sergeant) under his command – a male one, in case this was not clear.
But it doesn’t stop there because a second lieutenant-colonel was also sentenced to a 10-month, suspended sentence for ‘participating’ in this unusual communication with ‘other ranks.’
Editorial note: Franco would not be pleased.
