Almuñécar Town Hall has announced the setting up of a ‘technical board’ to “evaluate and execute” safety work on Urbanización Carmenes del Mar in La Herradura.

The said stabilizing work will take place whilst the ongoing court case plods its way through the legal system.

The creation of this board was approved by the Regional Parliament in Sevilla following a proposal by the PP opposition party there.

Editorial comment: It’s a pity that such a board was not set up before they gave out building licences in the first place but raking in the money from such licences comes first, of course. Why has nobody from the different administrations been taken to court over this?
