The Eastern end of the Paseo Marítimo in Salobreña will be reopened in time for Semana Santa, says the Mayor of Salobreña.

The First-Phase building is already complete and it is only the finishing touches to the gardened areas that are still being carried out.

However, after Easter, the Second Phase will begin, affecting the Salomar 2000 area, which will lose about 30 metres to the new paseo design, where the tennis courts are.

This Second Phase should be complete before summer.

Finally, the Councillor for Urban Development, Javier Ortega, said, “This part of the paseo that is being opened will be an example of how the rest of the paseo will eventually look.”
