ALM Municipal Market ext front OnLThe Almuñécar police have arrested a 27-year-old, local man, charged with the break-in at the municipal market in December.

Between the 12th and 14th of December somebody gained entrance to the market and broke into one of the stalls, getting away with top-quality, cured hams (gran reserva).

The forensic police managed to find clues and prints that have led to the detention of the said suspect, who is ‘no stranger’ to the Guardia Civil. In fact, this is the second time that the man has been arrested for break-ins at the same establishment.

Although the man admitted guilt, according to the police, the hams have disappeared for good; i.e., a digestive outcome.
