The Mayor of Salobreña, Mª Eugenia Rufino, has announced that the hotel-project area behind the western beach has moved even closer.

We’re talking about the area between the Peñon and La Guardia, known as the TH1.

To be exact, it is not that earth-moving machinery is out working, but that the contract has been assigned for the First Phase which comprises of laying the street infrastructure. The said 1st Phase has a budget of 5-m euros.

Now, although this infrastructure work has a job-duration of 16 months, the hotels could begin to go up even before all the street infrastructure is finished. These proposed four and five-star hotels could be finished within two years, if all goes well.
